Sales Development Representative – German speaking

As a Sales Development Representative at Mercatus, you will play a crucial role in our partner’s growing Software as a Service (SaaS) business. You will guide startups through the sales journey by presenting individual solutions and addressing their challenges.

What you’ll do

  • Actively approach new customers by phone & email (outbound calls)
  • Separate the corn from the wheat by identifying and qualifying potential new customers and recognizing their challenges and needs
  • Independently build your own pipeline with optimization of our sales processes and customer communication
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system (Hubspot).
  • To ensure that nothing stands in the way of your success you work with the most modern and digital tools (such as Hubspot, MS Teams, Asana, Aircall)
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for outbound activities and appointment setting.

What You Need For The Job

  • Business fluent in written and spoken German is necessary
  • An interest in dealing with demanding and international customers
  • Experience in B2B sales
  • Customer orientation and outstanding commitment are a priority for you
  • You have a high degree of initiative, very good organizational skills and enjoy working with different personalities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Fluent English


  • Have experience in the SaaS / software business
  • Have experience working with Hubspot
